Ematic launches a new super affordable tablet running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, the eGlide 4 (model EGL25BL) priced at $79.99. With such as budget price, the device still managed to pack a 1GHz processor, 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage. It comes with a 7-inch touchscreen display. While Google’s Nexus 7 still has a front-facing camera, the eGlide 4 comes with no camera, which is reasonable considering its price.
The eGlide 4 supports WiFi connectivity to keep you connected. It can handle Full HD 1080p video playback, and its mini HDMI output lets your bring video content to a bigger screen HDTV. You can add a microSD/SDHC up to 32GB in case the 4GB internal storage is not enough. The tablet sports three-axis gyroscope and accelerometer for advanced motion sensing that is ideal for gaming. Kobo e-book, Office Suite and Ematic App shop, Box applications are pre-loaded.
