LeapFrog LeapPad2 Learning Tablet for Kids

Looking for a tablet for your kids? Take a look at LeapFrog’s newly launched LeapPad2 learning tablet designed for children aged 3 to 9 years. Replacing the original LeapPad, the new model packs a faster LF2000 processor and doubles onboard memory to 4GB. According to the firm, the tablet has a design that is durable enough to withstand kid play.

As a learning tablet, the LeapPad2 comes pre-loaded with five apps to encourage creativity and non-stop learning fun, including the Pet Pad for kids to nurture a virtual pet; the Cartoon Director for creating animated movies, learn and sing along to LeapFrog Learning Songs; Art Studio for making masterpieces and Photo Studio for editing pictures. Kids can also take photos and videos using the front and back cameras and put themselves into movies they create.

Parents can download more content such as educational games, videos, music and e-book from the LeapFrog App Center. For example, you can get Ultra eBooks interactive stories that engage kids with creative tales and reading games.

The LeapPad2 learning tablet is available in green, pink for $99.99, and there is a special $129.99 LeapPad2 Disney Princess Bundle.
