Wireless headphones are getting more popular, but I’ve always believed that corded ones have better sound. These premium headphones from Denon are part of their high-end wireless headset collection, and look like they are an option if you want over-ear headphones that are wireless.

The Globe Cruiser Bluetooth 3.0 Headphones feature active noise cancellation, pentagonally-shaped memory foam ear pads, and 40mm drivers. There’s an included smartphone app allowing you to customize some settings, along with an interface to play your music. The headphones hold a charge of up to 10 hours, and can be plugged in for continuous usage. They have dual microphones and a wheel situated on the outside of an ear pad to select your tunes remotely. Frequency response is rated from 5 to 37,000 Hz.

The headphones pack flat, which is always good when you travel. While they look great, and the features sound impressive, they’re not exactly cheap. The Denon Globe Cruiser headphones will set you back $499.99 (USD) for a pair. They’re available for pre-order over on Amazon.

MetroPCS LG Connect 4G Smartphones capable of VoLTE

MetroPCS announced the world’s first commercial launch of Voice over LTE (VoLTE) services and releases the world’s first VoLTE-capable phone, the LG Connect 4G (model MS840). Currently, 4G LTE phones handle voice calls using 2G or 3G network, with VoLTE service and handsets, calls to and from the handset will use LTE network, regardless of the handset or network used on the other end of the call.

The LG Connect 4G is powered by a 1.2GHz processor with 1GB of RAM. It features a 4-inch NOVA touchscreen display, a 5 Megapixel camera with 720p HD video recording, a VGA front-facing camera for video chat, Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity. The phone comes with 1.78GB of internal memory and supports UP TO 32GB microSD/SDHC. Android 2.3 Gingerbread is the operating system of the smartphone.

The Connect 4G is available for $249.99 without contract.

OtterBox launches the Defender series of case for Samsung’s latest flagship Galaxy S III smartphone. As you may know, OtterBox’s Defender cases feature three layers of protection – a two-piece polycarbonate inner layer snaps together to form a snug fit around the case, a rugged silicone outer layer for rock-solid defense against drops and shock, and a built-in screen protector to prevent screen scratches.

While protects the Galaxy S III from drop, dust and damage, the Defender case offers complete access to functions of the phone, including camera and flash, microphone, speaker.
